SPIN not only offers students the opportunity to apply their understanding of Social Psychology to news and current affairs, but it also provides members the chance to obtain some work or research experience to increase their employability.

SPIN is a great opportunity for students to gain skills and experience relevant to their degree, as well as their future career options. For example, you will get the opportunity to enhance your critical thinking, presenting and research skills. You will also have the opportunity to write blogs, maintain a website, manage a project, and organise meetings. The level of involvement is up to you, but students can be awarded Passport Points for their participation.

SPIN is available to all students, but particularly aimed at those who have a strong interest in Social Psychology. No application is required, although there are only limited spaces available, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
